Farmer Jay Wilde was following in the footsteps of his father, but still he felt pangs of conscience every time he led another cow to slaughter. Wilde found himself torn between allegiance to his father’s profession and his strong desire to find another way to make a living. Director Alex Lockwood of Fix 8 Films makes very big, widescreen pictures out of an exceedingly simple story; the film was shot by Oliver Walton with the Canon EOS C500, EOS C300 and EOS-1D C with Sigma Art prime lenses.
