Animator Boris Labbé directed this grim short film that draws on Hieronymous Bosch, Francis Bacon, Pieter Bruegel and others in depicting, well, a long journey downward. Per the artist’s website, the art is a combination of drawing on paper, indian ink and watercolor with 2D computer work; it comprises approximately 3,500 original 30 x 42 cm drawings.
