Automatic Captioning, Metadata Tagging, and Content Discovery Among Applications
Dalet has released Media Cortex, an AI-driven software-as-a-service platform that automates metadata generation, caption creation, and other services and debuts what the company described as “smart assistants” for editors and creatives.
At NAB 2019, Dalet said, it expects to demo automatic indexing and classification services including speech-to-text, natural language processing and computer vision; automatic captioning in multiple languages; and content recommendations aimed at helping editors and other creative users tell stories more efficiently.
“Dalet Media Cortex is the ultimate content assistant,” said Dalet Director of Product Strategy Kevin Savina in a prepared statement. “It will power-charge your content searches, give your storytellers more content options to work with and let your business and content strategy teams build new monetization with your products.”
Dalet Media Cortex will be marketed as a pay-as-you-go service, the company said.
