Ftrack today announced Ftrack Review, a browser-based review-and-approval tool for collaboration on images, video, and multi-page PDFs.
Media that’s uploaded to Ftrack’s cloud through Ftrack Review can be shared via a secure link that allows in-browser access on desktop or mobile devices without requiring user registration or software installation.
Version-tracking is handled by stacking assets in the media library, session summaries can be exported as PDFs and, for that pro touch, review sessions can be branded with a company logo.
“Ftrack Review overhauls our existing review and approval platform, making it more accessible and user-friendly for any creative team to use,” said Ftrack founder and CEO Fredrik Limsater in a prepared statement. “Everyone from freelancers to marketing teams and global studios can use it to increase the effectiveness of their feedback cycles. And if users need to scale, Ftrack Studio’s powerful production tracking platform is there to take things to the next level.”
Ftrack Review costs $15/month per user and offers 250 GB of storage along with unlimited projects, review sessions and participants. It’s launching as a standalone product, but the review player will be incorporated in track Studio, the company’s project-management and production-tracking software, “shortly after release,” the company said.
All Review subscribers start with a free seven-day trial; through the end of May, Ftrack is offering Review for half price with an annual subscription.
Ftrack will be NAB-adjacent in a suite at the Renaissance Hotel, with meetings available by appointment from Monday, April 8 through Thursday, April 11.
