Save the bees! Say what you will about their Big Macs, but give props to the McDonald’s locations in Sweden that are experimenting with rooftop beehives — and replacing grass landscaping with bee-friendly flowers and plants — to help support honeybee populations. Once local agency Nord DDB got wind of the trend, it built this tiny McDonald’s that does double-duty as a functional beehive to help spread the word. It was part of a tie-in to World Bee Day, celebrated on May 20.
