Adobe After Effects and Foundry Nuke are now part of the Netflix Post Technology Alliance (PTA). The two products inaugurate a brand-new VFX category in the PTA, which verifies that they meet technical and delivery specifications for Netflix Original movies and shows.
Adobe Premiere Pro is already included in the PTA as part of the editorial category.
“After Effects has won the trust of visual effects artists all over the world, and now, we’re proud that Netflix has officially welcomed it into the VFX category in the Post Technology Alliance,” said Adobe Senior Strategic Development Manager Van Bedient in a prepared statement. “Through this new designation, we’re excited to continue our work with Netflix to solve creative challenges and optimize workflows for all of the visual effects masters who rely on After Effects to create magic on screen.”
“We are delighted that Nuke received the Netflix Post Technology Alliance product designation,” said Foundry CEO Jody Madden in a prepared statement. “Our missions to deliver exceptional quality via innovative workflows are completely aligned. Partnering with the Netflix Post Technology Alliance ensures we can further the industry together by supporting all content creators, from the smallest teams to the largest studios, in delivering ambitious projects to the exacting standards of Netflix.”
