C-3PO is arguably the star of the new trailer for Episode IX, in which director J.J. Abrams aims to bring 42 years of Star Wars to something like a satisfying climax. At 155 minutes, it will be the longest Star Wars movie ever. Maryann Brandon, ACE, returns as co-editor, this time with franchise newcomer Stefan Grube (10 Cloverfield Lane, Tully), and cinematographer Dan Mindel, ASC, is back behind the camera. VFX are from ILM in San Francisco, Singapore, Vancouver and London, and the score, of course, is by John Williams.
