In what it describes as a “relaunch” of its IP camera line, Marshall Electronics introduced two new H.265 IP cameras with 30x optical zoom.
Both cameras have an 8.5 megapixel Sony 1/2.5-inch sensor and 30x optical zoom block (4.6mm–135mm) with an angle of view ranging from 68 degrees to 3 degrees. The CV420-30X-IP offers UHD (3840 x 2160) output at 60p via simultaneous HDMI and IP streaming, while the CV355-30X-IP is limited to HD (1920×1080) output at 60p over 3G/HD-SDI, IP and HDMI.
They support triple-stream H.265/H.264/MJPEG video with MPEG-TS support, IP control protocols including Visca over IP, Onvif and Pelco, and power over Ethernet, with stereo audio embedding via a 3,5mm input jack on the rear panel. Both cameras are compatible with Marshall’s new VS-PTC-IP camera controller.
The new IP cameras are targeting broadcast, studio production, sporting events and esports, government and courtroom applications, lectures, house of worship and live events.
