WarnerMedia's FilmStruck streaming service was a mecca for cinephiles, offering a catalog of nearly 1,500 streaming vintage classics art-house and independent films, foreign movies, and the entire Criterion Collection of deluxe-format masterpieces, curated by Turner Classics Movies. But today subscribers got word the FilmStruck screen would go dark on November 29, a victim of a consolidation strategy by Warner's new owner, telecom giant AT&T.
